Program Description
Body
Osteoarthritis is a progressive breakdown of joint surfaces that occurs as a result of chronic inflammation in a joint. This is a debilitating condition in older adults and once it starts it does not disappear on its own. However, through some changes to daily habits there are ways to help reduce or remove the symptoms of this condition. This lecture by Alliance Physical Therapy will outline the disease and provide a reasonable approach to management based upon how far progressed the issue is.
