Dungeons and Dragons is the world's most famous role-playing game. In it, players take on the role of a fantasy hero and are guided on an adventure by a figure known as the Dungeon Master. The library's monthly Adult D&D One Shot is an ideal opportunity to try out D&D. 

This month's one-shot is called “Orcs of the Shadow Moor.” A sinister tribe of orcs has been terrorizing the area around the High Moor, striking fear into the hearts of nearby villagers. Whispers say the orcs use shadow magic to attack suddenly and without warning in the dead of night, leaving only devastation. The guild masters in Daggerford fear this could be the return of the ancient Moonscar Clan, a tribe long thought extinct. Known for their mastery of shadow magic and ruthless tactics, the Moonscar Clan's reemergence could spell disaster for the region. The guild masters have tasked a group of brave adventurers to travel into the treacherous depths of the High Moor, uncover the truth behind the attacks, and end the orcish threat.”
