Phonics Storytime

All storytimes help kids develop early reading skills, but this storytime series focuses explicitly on preparing kids to read. Using science of reading (SOR) methods, each storytime focuses on introducing a specific grapheme (unit of writing) or phoneme (unit of sound). We’ll have plenty of fun songs, activities, and crafts, so the kids won’t even realize they’re learning. Parents will also benefit from this series by better understanding how reading is currently taught in schools and how they can support their child’s reading outside the classroom.
