How can we preserve the summer fruit harvest while using less sugar? What is the best sugar used for canning? Will my jam set if I use less sugar? Reducing sugar in our diets is a priority for many reasons including lowering the risk of diabetes or keeping our overall health in check. Whatever the reason, low sugar preserves are a healthy alternative while sealing in the summer fruit freshness. In this workshop presenter and presenter Marie Arnstein will share her recipes and demonstrate the process of preparing low sugar preserves, while providing a tasting sample for all participants.
