Join us for a presentation on the basics of planting and maintaining fruit bearing trees, shrubs and vines by Craig Rowland.  Craig is a lifelong resident of Monroeville, holds a horticulture degree from Temple University, is a Penn State Master Gardener, and has business experience growing, crafting and selling PA wine. A gardener with over 20 years of experience, his presentation will introduce you to the range of fruit trees, shrubs and vines grown in our area and basics on how to grow them.  If you grow fruit already and have questions, or want to start growing fruit varieties, this presentation is for you.  Craig’s talk will provide information on where to shop, how to select and tips for growing fruit varieties in our area. This is a hybrid event - participants may join in person or online.  Upon registering participants will receive a zoom link and passcode to enable the option of remote viewing the day of the event.    This is the first program in a three part series on growing fruit and permaculture.
