Join us for an exploration of some of the foundational texts of Judaism, one of the world’s oldest monotheistic religions. Speaker Alan Iszauk will give an overview of the importance and meaning of the writings including the Tanakh: comprised of the Pentateuch (Torah), the Prophets (Nevi'im) and the Writings (Ketuvim). In addition, books that make it possible to interpret Jewish Law, Guidelines for daily living, Prayer, and Life Cycle Rituals will also be presented and examined.
